Spacestor Visits Neocon - The Leading Design Exposition and Conference for Commercial Interiors

At Spacestor we believe that people who feel good do better.   Our products reflect that, as our furniture designs promote the opportunity to work productively in a flexible and agile environment. Our general manager Nic Baxter and Workspace Concept Leader from our California Design Centre, Jim Fry attended Neocon in June, at the iconic building The Mart in Chicago, to take a look at the innovative furniture created for inspiring and  dynamic workspaces. We were excited to find out about the latest office tech, storage and furniture options, which directly related to what we believe are the key workplace drivers to a happier, healthier and more productive workspace environment.

We have worked with the world’s most creative and inspiring companies, such as Google, Apple and Facebook.  These are the leading companies actively pursuing these key workplace drivers such as design individuality, a millennial mind appeal, and employee engagement.  Their influence is widespread and is changing the way the world works, which we saw on display at Neocon , whilst exploring the creative furniture world. Many of the products influenced the idea of creating a dynamic and agile workspace designed with employees in mind giving them the opportunity to work where they feel best.  The increase in social spaces allows employees to be able to not only work but also engage in conversation and enjoy their workspace, driving employee engagement and retention, with its aesthetic appeal. We also noticed how many of the furniture products incorporated the option of connectivity allowing people to plug and play, working flexibly. Our Railway Carriage meeting pod is designed to appeal to the millennial mind, creating a space that uses technology based products to make work life easier.  Workspaces are adapting to changing social and technical trends as well as introducing sociable places to work. And finally, the fantastic light colour schemes including cornflower blues and dusty pinks used reminded us of our London Design Centre . Come along to our new London Design Centre to see what really drives employee engagement at River House, 143-145 Farringdon Road, Clerkenwell, London, EC1R 3AB.
