Located in an old car showroom and service station dating back to the 1930's, Mint & More have developed a retro-futuristic interior concept, mixing vintage functionalist style with space-age vibes.
Each of MOW's Supernova spaces are designed to have different, interesting details, with surprises lurking behind each corner. With this in mind, each meeting room throughout their spaces is uniquely themed, allowing members of the community to create their own experience using the space.
The spaces are experiential and provide personality whilst being functional. Furthermore, environmental, socio-cultural and financial sustainability were also thought through during the design process. The building was designed according to the BREEAM certification and designers chose environmentally friendly materials such as Durat composite, Econyl recycled nylon flooring and used vintage furniture, locally produced work and young entrepreneurs to create this unique and sustainable workplace.
A lot of the brand imagery revolves around outer space, tech and pop culture. Mint & More took this to the next level, incorporating art with the interior design, such as a custom art piece of aluminium sheets for the entrance, partnering with a regional street artists' collective to create large-scale artwork to match the furniture, colour and concept choices.
At MOW Supernova, not even the bathrooms have been overlooked. Diversely accessible with an attractive design, one set incorporates a galaxy theme with a space chimpanzee, while the others have colourful themes, designed to suit a variety of moods.
A pioneer in its field, MOW have created a space that fosters creativity and which proves that ultimately the atmosphere is not created solely by the interior design, but by how the people use it.
