Workspace of the Week - WeWork Waterhouse Square, London
WeWork's new Waterhouse Square coworking offices are the perfect hot spot for client meetings, designed to promote collaboration and creativity.

Oktra has recently worked with the WeWork design team to create WeWork's stunning new coworking offices located in Waterhouse Square, London. A creative oasis amidst the metropolitan buzz of one of London's hottest neighborhoods.

The new Holborn coworking environment has been designed by Oktra in collaboration with WeWork's team. Promoting collaboration and creativity, the workspace spans six floors and is the perfect hot spot for client meetings, being close by to Chancery Lane Underground station. The workspace has no shortage of amenities, being dog-friendly, and fitted with onsite showers and convenient bike storage.

Going above and beyond the usual design and build delivery, Oktra's team worked around the clock to create and deliver this remarkable collaborative workspace. The workspace is in fact a listed building, and has been fitted out with an impressive interior, with features such as a large heritage wall. Planting and biophilia has been introduced into the space - strips of artificial ivy have been arranged on each floor facing the atrium, bringing the outdoors in. A large wall which reaches up to the third floor has also been covered with petrified moss, creating a striking natural feature.

When walking into the space, an ornate gothic archway serves as a striking entrance to WeWork Waterhouse square, housing the reception, community bar, lounge, pantry and hot desk benches. A dropdown projector is used to transform the space into the perfect venue for hosting events.
