In Glasgow's city centre, Chivas Brothers, part of the Pernod Ricard Group, have recently relocated from their historic Paisley location into their award-winning Blythswood Square workspace. The reimagined work environment provides the employees with a space that positively impacts the work culture of the organisation, encouraging an aura of warmth and hospitality- the very principles upon which the business was originally founded.

The new space prioritises an exceptional and flexible working environment to support the organisation’s future plans, effectively combining architecture and technology to enable staff to get the best out of all neighbourhoods within the building depending on the task in hand or their wishes. As a testament to this successful workplace, Chivas Brothers Glasgow Headquarters have won in the 'Fit Out of Workspace' category, Scotland, 2020 at this year’s British Council for Offices Awards!

Working with Graven, who provided their wealth of experience in designing hospitality environments for luxury brands and Morris & Spottiswood, a leading construction company, we were pleased to supply our Palisades Grid, Storagewall and Palisades Wood. Used as a display unit in the meeting rooms, our Palisades Grid houses a TV unit to provide a tech-enabled meeting experience, as well as a place to showcase a variety of the brand's bottles! The black runs of Storagewall are seamlessly woven into the design to provide an efficient storage solution whilst blending in with the luxurious design scheme.

Social spaces are paramount. This includes the ‘convivial lounge’, coffee bar, technologically enabled meeting rooms, and a super-flexible kitchen. There is a fully equipped bar where, as well as occasional relaxation, the team and its business partners can train and develop their skills and knowledge. State-of-the-art meeting spaces supported by a range of technology solutions have been designed to give the team every chance to be as collaborative as possible in their new environment, both locally and with their international team and partners and more recently, home workers.

A notable part of Graven's design is the bespoke ‘wonder wall’ which celebrates the Chivas Brothers core brands and acts as a backdrop for the Lounge. The wall incorporates products and images illustrating a carefully curated mural of people, brands and experiences.
