Award winning software company Slack are known for their real-time messaging and communication app that allows teams to interact and collaborate within the working environment.
With a program created to encourage collaboration and team work in workplaces around the world, their new office encourages all this and more too.
Slack’s new headquarters in Vancouver, Canada features a multi-level open plan design bursting with natural light from the large bay windows and skylights and modern exposed brick details.
In this office, you’ll find a variety of dynamic spaces including mobile meeting rooms, private booths for skype meetings or focused work, a modern café and a large atrium stairwell that is also a seating area for employees to socialise or collaborate on projects.
The open space has also been decorated with biophilic details including a mossy wall that stands in the middle of the workspace that complements the wood features and adds a fresh and vibrant colour to the workspace too.
To complete the look, structural pendent lighting was added and suspended above the two levels of the workspaces – emulating floating clouds throughout the industrial building.
Not only does this workspace enhance flexibility and agile working, it also allows employees to share and interact with each other weather it’s for business purposes or social interaction, the possibilities within Slack’s new workspace are endless.
We’re inspired by the office and the and the design details that will retain current employees and attracts the new generation with its casual and collaborative style.
