Workspace of The Week - Spotify, London
The new offices of Spotify in Soho, London, took inspiration from the Stockholm HQ with its range of eclectic soft seating, creating a space that encourages collaboration and social interaction.

This week we’re taking a look at Spotify’s newly designed workspace in London.

Spotify is a digital music service giving users access to millions of songs at a monthly cost. The app is used worldwide and continues to grow every year enabling more countries to get their hands on this exciting app. As the digital music service company increases in size, it's vital for Spotify to have a space that can accommodate more staff and create an office that's not only inspiring but also features plenty of unique areas to work and collaborate with different teams.

Their new office in Soho, London was inspired by the Spotify HQ in Stockholm that includes a wide range of eclectic soft seating products, in a casual and social office space. In the London office, a mixture of velvet, leather, and wood products were incorporated to create a vibrant and sociable space.

A variety of lounge style seating and unique tables were positioned throughout the space acting as meeting points. Spotify even added a stage in the space – perfect for presentations or music acts. The office also includes meeting rooms with tech-enabled features such as integrated plasma screens in the wall for presentations and conference-calling tech too.

Not only does this workspace include a cool London design with dynamic spaces to work and enjoy it also encourages staff to work together and enjoy be inspired by the space that Spotify has created for their current and future employees too. Along with this, Spotify ensured the brand and history were present throughout by making sure the space was an extension of the company's development.
