The brief was to introduce more breakout spaces and collaborative spaces – pods, media hubs, soft seating and places for stand-up meetings – in order to move the focus away from traditional meeting rooms and towards a more contemporary, agile approach. As such, Spacestor were delighted to customise one of our Railway Carriage meeting pods with ribbed interiors in alternating grey and white upholstery – this stripy design matches the clean, calming palette of white and pale grey used throughout the company. Furthermore, both sides of the Railway Carriage were left open, allowing it to become a central pivot for the rest of the refreshed workplace.
