Photobox Group
Online photo printing company Photobox Group, recently asked workplace design experts Oktra to transform the old Herbal House printworks in Clerkenwell into a modern, open-plan headquarters.

Photobox Group owns some of Europe’s biggest providers of personalised products and gifts – like Moonpig, Hofmann, posterXXL and, of course, Photobox – so of course they wanted a highly personalised space as well. Hence workplace design experts Oktra were brought on to reimagine the old Herbal House printworks in Clerkenwell as a modern, open-plan headquarters.

The results? A huge and sociable atrium space retaining many of the building’s original industrial features, surrounded by four floors which are colour-coded according to the CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) system used in printing. Oktra installed great modern furnishings throughout, including Spacestor’s Storagewall system: here used to provide ample storage without breaking up the bright and flowing space.
