On 26^th July, Spacestor opened their doors to designers and workplace professionals for Candlelight Colada, a Beyond the Desk event which included an insightful, hands-on candle-making workshop, drinks and nibbles and exclusive tours of the Spacestor London Design Centre.

The workshop, run by Yougi Botanicals included the curation of a scent, which could be created from a therapeutic range of fragrances. Once ready, participants mixed in the wax and poured their own customized candles. Throughout, Emily from Yougi, explained the significance of different scents, their aromatherapeutic nature and the ability they have to energize, calm, destress or detox.

Participants also had the opportunity to tour the London Design Centre, following a recent revamp of the space, including our newly launched products and day-2 configurations of Verandas and Aeonica. A beautiful backdrop, the Design Centre was the perfect place for the candle workshop, providing an ambiance which was brilliantly suited to the activity.

Vantage Spaces, planting partners in the space, were also present to share their expertise around biophilia in the workplace. A fantastic opportunity for networking across roles and industries, Candlelight Colada was yet another great Beyond the Desk event at Spacestor’s London location!
