Brookfield Properties develops and operates real estate investments on behalf of Brookfield Asset Management — one of the largest alternative asset managers in the world. From office to retail, logistics to multifamily, and hospitality to development, they work across sectors to bring high-quality, sustainable real estate to life around the globe. 225 Liberty Street is a 44-story building located along the Hudson River waterfront at Brookfield Place, providing an inspiring environment for tenants and their employees.

Brookfield understood how important it was to provide multiple collaboration and meeting spaces to accommodate these numbers. The Railway Carriage acts as an ideas hub for collaboration as well as a relaxed, space for socializing or networking. Designed as both a free-standing booth and built into the wood paneling, the Railway Carriage's internal upholstery, a rich dark brown, has been chosen to compliment the rest of the design scheme whilst the additional lighting and power within the booth enhance the user experience.

To meet tenant’s evolving needs, Brookfield Properties created SPACE+ as a complement to traditional leasing arrangements, delivering workspaces with thoughtful finishes, furniture, technology, and services to make the space move-in ready. SPACE+ at 225 Liberty Street is a beautiful combination of luxurious finishes, calming colours and organic textures. High ceilings and excellent light and views gives the space a unique aura. Throughout the floorplate, a plethora of different space settings provide employees with a huge amount of choice; from breakout spaces, to collaboration areas, focus booths and other valuable amenities. Complimenting the other organic finishes in the design scheme, our Residence Work booths, finished in natural lacquered plywood, provide a dedicated quiet space to escape the buzz. Their glazed doors still allow light to shine through the workspace, whilst providing an acoustically sound space for focus work or phone calls.
