FinTech company GoCardless help businesses to take recurring payments from customers located in the world. As they’ve been growing quickly they recently decided to move into larger premises in the creative hub of Sutton Yard, Clerkenwell, and hired Peldon Rose, who worked with Your Bureau to design their new space. The brief? A lively startup space in which employees can work however they like.

“One of the main inspirations behind this office design,” explain Peldon Rose’s designers, “was the concept of trust, an important value which GoCardless promote amongst all their staff.” As such, they built a workplace to suit a wide variety of different working styles and spread agile micro-environments across all three floors: we installed some of our Railway Carriage meeting pods for staff wishing to work away from their desks; and, in keeping with the theme of openness and trust, these were left open-sided and placed in the centre of the room.
