We are looking for a motivated individual with experience in graphic design, video editing, conceptual sketching and mockups and webpage design. The successful candidate will also have experience in working in an interior design team responsible for product or project pitching.

You will be the principle creator of graphical and visual content for an innovative global furniture manufacturer. This means you will need a range of design skills, an awareness of regional differences and nuances and the ability to work within existing brand guidelines.

Reporting to the VP Marketing, your role in creating the majority of visual outbound Marketing material will be vital to achieving the company’s revenue targets.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Design and project manage creation of conceptional material and assets including magazines, lookbooks, moodboards
  • Creation of on-brand graphics & promotional material including brochures, whitepapers, pricelists and branded documents
  • Creation of webpage designs incorporating optimised web user experience
  • Creation of product-based design pitch documents, mood boards and sketches for strategic sales projects
  • Creation & direction of product and project photoshoot & videoshoots including set design, shoot schedules etc
  • Provide market-led look and feel input to our R&D dept for product development
  • Creative input into showroom design, events stand designs
  • Directing or creating full-scene CGI

Required skills/attributes 

  • Proficient in full Adobe suite, in particular, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro
  • Ability to sketch in architectural style
  • Webpage design experience
  • Practical awareness of product design
  • Creative flair, keen eye for aesthetics and ability to translate requirements into designs
  • Keenness to learn and experiment with new ideas, channels, platforms etc
  • Awareness of workspace market drivers and trends
  • Experience with workspace interior design and space planning
  • Some experience with directing or creating CGIs

Preferable skills/experience:

  • Familiarity with UI web design
  • Some experience with design modelling – e.g. sketchup, rhino or autocad
  • Experience managing multi-location campaigns and working with global offices

Qualifications

  • Required: degree in graphic and/or interior design
  • Preferred: Additional degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field

We are looking to recruit a German-speaking Area Sales Manager for Europe. The role is focussed on Germany and other countries in Europe, and will report to the Global Sales Director. The objective of the role is to promote the Spacestor range of workplace furniture (storage/lockers/quiet pods/seating/desking/tables and other products) to dealers, architects and contractors in Europe.

Spacestor has strong existing relationships at all levels within many of our existing accounts (dealers & architects), and have been actively working with them on projects for long periods, some of them 3+ years. The role will primarily be based either from the Spacestor regional office/showroom, or from your home office.

Key success measures for the role:

  • Value of orders secured vs target (per week)
  • Pipeline up to date and overall value

Requirements 

  • Fluent business German is essential, other European languages including French/Italian would be useful
  • The successful candidate must have a track record of at least 2 - 3 years of growing sales in the European workplace interiors/fitout market
  • Spacestor have a very active presence with top level architects and designers within the European and UK markets, which generate a large number of opportunities through these dealers, it will be your responsibility to work with the dealers and architects to bring these through to successful orders
  • Successful existing relationships with key European architects, dealers and fit-out contractors would be very useful

Activity in a typical week would consist of:

  • Face to face presentations/meetings - either formal design presentations to individuals or groups, or project based discussion and specification meetings
  • Phone work - following up contacts and projects and booking in future face to face presentations/appointments
  • Some general admin/email follow-up/completion of appointment actions/internal meetings as required

Production & Assembly Operator

About the Job

To align with recent growth and new orders for the leading big tech companies, we are recruiting in our Production Team.  Recent performance has set new records in production and this position is vital to continuously improving the production performance and deliver our company goals. Our Production and Assembly Operators are the key to our performance delivering high quality, awesome products using beam saws, edge banders, CNC drills and assembling furniture. Operators that can organise their workload, and lead their area have the potential for promotion.

Essential personal attributes required for this role

  • Take responsibility for their work with the highest quality standards 
  • Experience of high throughput manufacturing industries 
  • Ability to organise their workload and identify continuous improvements 
  • Great communicator 
  • Honour our commitments to the customer 
  • Ability to drive their team to work to the highest standards 

Process training and Continuous Improvement training will be provided. 

The Role

Deliver continuous improvement to the efficiency of the production process through: 

  • Multi-skilled operator to work on machinery and assembly areas (training will be provided) 
  • Full accountability and flexibility in working hours to ensure each day’s schedule is delivered 
  • Communicate with upstream and downstream operations to ensure consistent workflow 
  • Assess daily performance with the Team Leader and Lean Manufacturing manager to identify areas for continuous improvement 
  • Ensure quality checks are completed to deliver Ready On Time In Full targets (ROTIF) 

Operator Salary range + Benefits are equivalent to £12.00 - £14.50 per hour based on skills and performance.  Standard hours are Monday - Friday  07:00 - 16:00
