Jacada Travel are luxury travel providers who pride themselves on custom designing journeys for those who wish to go beyond the typical and venture deeper, getting away from the crowds to experience something truly authentic and special.

As the business has grown, Jacada Travel have realised their office was no longer representative of the brand they had become. Consequently, they relocated their office to Bentima House in Old Street, employing Peldon Rose to design a space which shows off their personality whilst creating an inspiring working environment for staff.

Through careful planning and collaboration, a new 4,500 sq ft office has been created which provides enough space to support Jacarda Travel's continued growth whilst reflecting their brand. At the heart of the design process was sustainability and biophilic design, which links back to the focus that Jacada puts on community, conservation and carbon offsetting in every bespoke package they create.

As well as bringing out the personality of the brand, the office needed to be an environment designed for collaboration and integration. For example, the tea point is a central feature of the office, giving staff a dedicated space to connect with each other. A breakfast bar and large dining table gives staff enough space to enjoy a break away from their desks and to socialise.

Natural products are integrated throughout the office design, from using cork partitions, sisal flooring and organic materials to produce the fabric in the meeting booths. Also key was to maximise natural light and to facilitate this, no solid partitions have been used in the main office floor and Crittal-style glazing has been used to help bring the outside in to these stunning offices.
