Espaces de travail sympa
With its location in the new eco-district the Docks, the Regional Council headquarters designed by Saguez & Partners displays an exemplary approach toward the environment, created with accessibility and with a variety of work areas in mind. A concierge desk, an auditorium, a spacious gym with views of Paris, a gaming centre, bicycle parking, a documentation area and 24 connected teabreak areas are just a few of the many highlights of the space.
Incorporated into the design, were many catering spaces, each with different offers and activities. Le Pop Café, open all day, is a fun and connected cafeteria with vintage furniture inspired by the 50’s and provides an energising space to host meetings. Le Café Seine, Le Sous Bois and L’Ex Libris also provide areas for coworking and meetings, or for breaking out and relaxation.
The office includes a semi-open plan design concept, featuring wide-open interior views which also bring in the outdoors, city views and natural light. The main idea was to create easily recognizable and fit for purpose spaces using graphics of a city in construction and an area on the move to enliven and punctuate various areas.
4 strong colours have been used to create landmarks according to the pavilions of the building, blue for the Seine, orange for the city, green for the countryside, and finally yellow for mobility. The new work environment for the agents and officials of the region is quirky, fresh and bold.
The workplace encourages both formal and informal exchanges between colleagues and arouses the collective intelligence of the group to better work together. It’s clear from the design of these offices that a 21st century administration is revolutionizing the workplace.
