Espaces de travail sympa
The London Headquarters of Spencer Ogden is an office that is known for its quirky style and overall functionality. It features a myriad of bold colours throughout, with patriotic red, white and blue, bare brick, bespoke office prints, red booths, a neon underground tube sign, games room, table tennis and much more.
First established in 2010 in Tottenham Court Road, Spencer Ogden were among the few companies at the time who had cool, fun offices. However, although cool, their offices weren’t well-suited to their needs so in 2018, Spencer Ogden found their new office location in King William Street, employing Office Principles to design their new workspace. They worked closely with Spencer Ogden to provide a set of designs that reflected the needs of the business and enabled an uplift in functionality. The new offices consider the requirements and preferences of all staff sought in the early consultation stages and reflect a “New York Loft Style.”
With shower facilities, bike racks and an urban garden, the new space demonstrates a keen desire to nurture and promote its inhabitants’ wellbeing, whilst providing the company with a bigger space to accommodate its consistent growth and to allow for a more agile style of working.
Work was completed over an eight-week period and included the introduction of flexible working spaces, incorporating quiet zones, private meeting rooms and breakout areas, along with the general shared open-plan office. The AstroTurf flooring is the stand out product in this office deign. It’s a trademark that can be seen in all the Spencer Ogden offices across the globe.
“The relocation of our operation to King William Street is the culmination of the exciting growth we have achieved in the past few years,” said Donna Hewett, people and infrastructure director at Spencer Ogden. “We outgrew our previous premises and this move reconfirms our investment in our long-term plans.”
