Creating recognizable neighbourhoods, the different areas of the office each have a designated purpose whilst maintaining an intuitive path and wayfinding throughout the space. The ‘Park’ is a vibrant, multi-purpose environment fostering a sense of community whilst encouraging social and work interactions. Acting as the heart of the office, employees can connect and engage in a lively but relaxed setting. 

Another area is the ‘Classroom’, a uniquely valuable resource for younger employees to learn from experienced colleagues. A reconfigurable layout and multi-functional furniture ensure it can easily adapt to various roles, from training sessions to collaborative meetings and beyond!

Deep concentration, minimal distraction and private solitude can be achieved in the ‘Library’, ideal for focused work and to show other colleagues that one should not be distracted. To complement the forward-thinking design of the Jacobs Perth office, Spacestor worked closely with the global professional services client to provide several key furniture solutions that are a cornerstone to the office’s functionality and align with their workplace strategy.

Palisades Grid, the minimalistic Californian-inspired zoning solution, was introduced to divide the open-plan spaces into more defined zones, maintaining the permeability, whilst providing necessary separation between different areas. An alternative to permanent walls, the solution preserves the office’s flexible design and sets up an adaptiveness when space needs change.

Recognizing the need for focused workspaces that remain connected to the overall office environment but provide some acoustic protection, Spacestor provided Portals Open. The single-user spaces are a quiet retreat for employees, affording the ability to concentrate whilst supported by integrated technology for an enhanced user experience. We also worked with Jacobs to provide a custom Portals solution which features double-width in-built seats, ideal for impromptu catchups or one-on-one meetings in a more private setting.

2-person Railway Carriage booths are strategically placed to encourage interaction and foster teamwork without the need for formal meeting rooms. The cosy enclosed spaces are to support small group interactions or quick impromptu discussions. Spacestor’s HotLocker offers an understated and sleek storage solution for associates. The lockers feature a smart locking system, allowing employees to easily claim a locker for the day with a simple swipe of their access card.
