Arvest at Ledger Bentonville is a true destination space. Designed with great intent by Callaghan Horiuchi, to enhance wellbeing and productivity for everyone that uses the space, it shows how an office space can become much more – it can embody the culture of a community.

The building, located in downtown Bentonville, has space to work, socialize, play and gather, as well as being the world’s first ‘bikeable’ building, with exterior switchbacks to access six stories. This physical openness is mirrored internally, where shared spaces encourage movement, interaction and a sense of flow throughout the building.

We worked with Evo Business Environments, to provide our Bleacher modular seating product, in the private office suite that is used by Arvest Bank. Bleachers were chosen as ideal for this space with their inherent flexibility and versatility which allow the product to be reconfigured over and over, and used in multiple applications.

In this full-floor office, a true understanding in the different work styles is portrayed through the various space settings, with five distinct zones: flexible hybrid teamwork and collaborative team areas, individual focus spots, innovative experimental space and amenity zones providing restful breaks.

Arvest's office is designed with wellness and human-centric principles guiding it, with full height windows letting in plenty of natural light, and biophilia not just placed into, but a core part of the design.

The palette and texture chosen throughout this space was curated to draw on the roots of the local area, with the pinks and reds referencing Arkansas's red rock terrain and creating a comfortable and warm feel throughout, further enhanced through the natural materials, textures and patterns that are woven in.

Outdoor areas, including terraces, offer access to stunning views across the city, further reinforcing connection to the surrounds, and elevating the everyday experience for users.

Together, the architecture, amenities and adaptability create a place that feels open, inclusive and deeply rooted in its community; a compelling example of how thoughtful design can bring people together and enrich the everyday work experience.
