At Pinsent Masons' Glasgow office, the workplace has a calm and considered character, bringing together a range of settings that support both individual focus and team interaction. The new 31,700 sq ft office has been carefully planned to create an environment that feels welcoming, intuitive and connected, providing employees with spaces that suit a variety of tasks throughout the working day.

Designed by Form Design Consultants and delivered by Linear Design & Construct, the project places equal importance on functionality and experience. Open collaborative areas sit alongside quieter destinations, creating a balanced workplace that accommodates different working styles while encouraging colleagues to come together. The result is a space that feels professional yet relaxed, with a strong emphasis on comfort, usability and long-term adaptability.

A warm, natural material palette runs throughout the interior, with timber finishes, planting and carefully selected textures adding depth and character to the space. Curved architectural forms and thoughtful spatial planning help create a natural flow between departments and shared amenities, making the workplace easy to navigate while maintaining a sense of openness and continuity – this feel is also enhanced through the lighting choices which guide the way between zones.

Greens and pops of colour are heroed in the breakout area by Emer Tumilty's art and the greens are carried through the whole space.

Spacestor were pleased to work with Form Design Consultants and Linear Design & Construct to provide storage solutions across the office, including Lockers, coat cupboards and shelving units. Finished in a warm oak woodgrain, the Storagewall complements the wider interior palette, blending seamlessly with the surrounding joinery and finishes. Rather than standing apart from the design, the storage becomes an integrated architectural element that supports both personal and shared use while contributing to the overall aesthetic of the workplace.

Throughout the project, attention has been paid to creating spaces that support everyday routines as well as moments of connection. Meeting areas, breakout spaces and informal gathering points are woven naturally into the layout, helping to foster interaction while ensuring employees have access to quieter settings when required. The balance between social, collaborative and focused environments creates a workplace that responds to the changing needs of its users.

The overall design demonstrates a refined attention to detail, with every element working together to create a cohesive experience. From the material selections through to the integration of practical workplace solutions, the finished space reflects a thoughtful approach to contemporary workplace design, delivering an environment that is functional, welcoming and built around the people who use it every day.
