Located in the bustling heart of the city, UBT’s Precinct in London is a constant buzz of activity for their private coworking clients.

This space has recently relocated, with the new space designed to maximize productivity for both clients and employees in the space. It has been designed in a strategic way to suit the various needs of the workspace, with a number of different work areas.

Besides the meeting rooms, which are booked out for client and team meetings, there is a large co-working area, with a mix of individual workstations and group collaboration tables. Spacestor were pleased to provide Portico as an acoustically protected individual phonebooth. It was specified in the Standing variation, with the intended use of people jumping in there for a quick call, rather than settling down for an entire day in that space.

The Portico pods were chosen after careful considerations, for their customizability, size, and easy installation. The pods were specified in a woodgrain finish, which blends in well with the overall aesthetic of the space, and feels a natural part of the design. The size of the Portico means that it feels spacious enough inside, whilst also having a small enough floorplate that there was room for 3 of the pods along a previously disused wall.
