When IA Interior Architects were asked to build a dream office for a confidential software company in San Ramon, California, they decided to create an open, calming landscape full of natural colours and materials.
Our Palisades Grid system is used here as a recurring motif that ties the space together. It’s built up into open walls that delineate different spaces and provide homes for many of the office plants, and also extended into rows that run along the tops of dividing walls like a frieze. All of which feels very appropriate, as the Palisades Grid was originally inspired by the 20th-century California Cool design movement.
