30 shipping containers have been used to transform this empty warehouse into Break the Floor Productions stunning offices located in Los Angeles, California.

Kyle Spivey Interiors have recently transformed an empty warehouse into the design of Break the Floor Productions offices in Los Angeles, California using 30 shipping containers.

Tasked with overseeing the transformation of this empty warehouse into a new 20,000 sqft headquarters for Break the Floor Productions - one of the world's preeminent dance entertainment companies - Kyle Spivey Designs repurposed more than 30 shipping containers to accomodate executive offices, creative spaces, conference rooms and lounges.

In addition to the areas within the shipping containers, the space also features a large "outdoor" courtyard complete with live trees and plants, a retail store and a games room.

With a broad range of business prospects and a reach of over 300,000+ dancers annually, Break the Floor Productions have a big influence over the transformation of dance entertainment. The ultimate goal of the project was to create a space that was fresh, productive and exciting for staff, who are mainly young and in their twenties.

Packed full of unique touches, the space features a stunning 200 Edison bulb chandelier in the lobby, custom made furniture and neon signs throughout,. A fireman's pole has even been fitted to allow quick access from the second floor. The project has taken almost a complete year to fulfil, finally wrapping up early in 2017.
