Workspace Of The Week - DRAFT, Tokyo
An interior design company's stunningly sophisticated workspace in Tokyo is an inspirational and flexible working environment promoting collaboration and social interaction.

Interior design company DRAFT is based in Tokyo recently completed their stunningly sophisticated workspace.

The company was founded in 2008 by interior designer and CEO Taiju Yamashita who has been highly regarded by international and national clients and his company DRAFT specialises in a wide range of interior design projects from retail to commercial facilities in Tokyo.

As a well-respected design firm in Japan, DRAFT's workspace is expected to be as high end and stylish as their portfolio of work. For their new offices, they set two main goals to aim for - how to overcome poor communication and create a more flexible working environment that promoted collaboration and inspire everyone too.

And DRAFT did just that. This beautiful space features plenty of plush seating in neutral tones to compliment the natural oak and exposed concrete finishes throughout the office along with the added luxury of marble tiles to create a more sophisticated vibe.

Whilst the space is aesthetically pleasing, it is a fantastic place for employees to engage in collaborative work and social interaction with a fully customised cafe space with espresso machine and hot-desking solutions to ensure that staff interact with other departments too.

Workstations are provided for staff to use and acoustically enhanced focused work pods have been designed to ensure that staff can enjoy working in a quiet space if needed.

Every inch of the workspace represents the brand’s sleek and contemporary style and attention to detail from the reception area to the luxury bathrooms with marble accents and sharp lines.

We admire how DRAFT’s aim was to not only create a collaborative environment but also infuse their design expertise and create a beautiful workspace that staff and clients will enjoy visiting. This workspace is a true extension of the brand and is certainly a workspace to be proud of.
