Located in Appold Street, John Robertson Architects have recently redesigned the coworking hub of Mindspace Shoreditch. A creative hub for start-ups, technology companies and innovators.
The office space spans two floors, incorporating informal meeting areas, lounges, hot desks, kitchens, private offices and phonebooths across 4,100 sq metres. JRA collaborated closely with Mindspace to create a design true to its signature boutique hospitality style, reflecting the cutting-edge style and vibrancy of the East London area.
Playful wall murals, and a range of carefully-curated vintage furniture and artwork have been featured in the space, providing an engaging work environment.
As a result of JRA's in-depth knowledge of the Mindspace brand, the project was completed on a tight timescale, offering a stylish, community-minded environment for businesses of different types.
In the words of Project Director, Angela St Clair-Ford, "We worked closely with Mindspace to create a lively, engaging design that illustrates the heart of their brand." The collaboration between JRA and Mindspace has led to the creation of a bespoke office environment, inspired by international interiors and an East London style.
