Workspace of the Week - SAP Innovation Center and HanaHous, Newport Beach
Built on the notion that great ideas can spring from anywhere, SAP Innovation Center and HanaHaus's new workspace is designed to be a beacon for innovation and creativity.
Business software company SAP Innovation Center and HanaHaus have recently worked with H Hendy Associates to redesign their new workspace in Newport Beach, California.
Located at 3366 Via Lido, the office location is a historic landmark of Newport’s Marina Lido Village and is designed to be a beacon for innovation and creativity, seamlessly combining both a dynamic coworking environment which is open to the public, and a research and development center for the company.
The 16,000 square foot Southern Californian collaboration workspace brings together Orange County’s thinkers, makers and inventers into an unconventional and creative workspace.
This historic building, which includes an adjacent marina, was initially developed as a Newport Balboa Savings Bank and today gives SAP access to local businesses and top research institutions, serving local entrepreneurs, idealists, capitalists, students and those with a passion for creativity.
HanaHaus was built on the notion that great ideas can spring from anywhere and features both indoor and outdoor workspaces infused with the latest technology and functional design. To bring this to life, the design team applied a human-centered approach to problem solving, extracting key insights that were then used to programme every area within the space.
Now open and serving Orange County’s innovators, SAP Innovation Center and HanaHaus is home to many entrepreneurs and local businesses even featuring a Blue Bottle Coffee shop with a full menu of world-famous artisan coffee and snacks.
