Better Normal for All. And as the world adapts to a new normal, Samsung’s Europe office embraces all the workplace and design trends of today. People-centric, efficient and a loyal extension of their brand. Collaborating with McLaren.Excell, Samsung has meticulously constructed a beautifully minimalistic and timelessly tactile experience for the Samsung employees. Not only is the workspace aesthetically mindblowing, but environmentally sustainable, socially equitable and good for people and planet.

Low lighting and dark materials communicate a dramatic vibe on approach. Like an entrance to another world, there is light at the end of the tunnel and the space opens out into a sunlit expanse. The environment revealed can be strongly associated with Samsung’s Korean heritage – refined materiality and agile minimalism.

Timber slatted walls of FSC-certified pine split up the space into variable working zones. Spaces to meet privately, to collaborate socially and to work alone. The product design area is connected to the main space stimulating an innovative efficiency, augmented by a proficient storage system. The soft shades of green and presence of biophilia adds softness and warmth, as do floor-to-ceiling curtains. Pared back, content design that paves the way for Samsung’s hybrid, innovative and flexible workforce to build the world’s tomorrow.
