Communications giant Publicis Groupe in San Francisco, California have recently worked with Blitz on the design of their new offices.
The space has been designed around an approach to promote a culture of connection, inclusivity and agility. The firm has 11 national and international brands in San Francisco, employing 550 staff previously spread across 120,000 feet in multiple locations.
Blitz have provided agile spaces for teams, alongside diverse workstations, empowering team members to be more effective and engaged than at a traditional assigned desk. Flexible spaces integrating access to tech resources support a variety of activities and encourage crosspollination among brands.
Each floor was also designed to create visual connections to the cityscape. The open space introduces several recurring concepts: retail-like storefronts, brand signage, rustic wood flooring, exposed building systems painted white for light reflection and expressive gemoetric lighting. Although the three floors are unified by a neutral and authentic palette featuring wood, glass and concrete, each brand is clearly distingushed using graphics, signage and colours unique to their identities.
The workspaces are organized as a series of neighbourhoods, featuring a variety of configurations to support both individual and collaborative working. Additionally, each brand is afforded dedicated project rooms designed to support client deliverables.
Immersive, playful experiences encourage discoveries and drive movement between the three floors. The result is a dynamic, energetic workspace which houses all brand agencies under one roof and reflects the Groupe's mantra.
