Workspace of the Week - Fosbury & Sons Boitsford Offices, Brussels
Fosbury & Sons have recently established their second location in Brussels, an architectural masterpiece offering state-of-the-art amenities for coworking members.

Fosbury & Sons' Boitsfort coworking offices is the former headquarters of cement company CBR and is located close to the Sonian Forest in Brussels, Belgium.

The building is an eye-catching, modernist masterpiece by post-war architect Constantin Brodzki who, after graduating from La Cambre, he travelled to the US by boat, and found a placement working on the Oscar Niemeyer-designed United Nations headquarters, later returning to Belgium to explore the possibilities of modern building techniques.

The nine-storey building has been constructed of 756 prefab convex oval concrete modules and its sculptural forms which are unusual for office buildings, sparked off a whole new wave in Belgium architecture. Fosbury & Sons founders were immediately attracted towards the remarkable building, exploring the incredibly detailed interior and surroundings.

Fosbury & Sons offices ocupy 7 of the 9 floors, with 3 additional floors below ground level for parking. As well as the 'Suites' (private office spaces), and 'Ateliers' (shared private office spaces), there are several other shared workspaces throughout the building, including a lobby with a bar on the ground floor - the perfect place to both work and meet in a pleasant and productive environment.

Also included in the building, is a restaurant by Coffeelabs, as well as a Bar 'Giorgio' on the 8th floor, which provides a panoramic view over the Sonian Forest. The space also features 5 fully tech-equipped meeting rooms, an event room and an audiotorium which can accomodate up to 75 people. A lot of space is also made available for art, in collaboration with Brussells art galleries.
